Normality

If life is a game, then we are all players.

How to win?

Well that depends on whether the Game of Life is an individual or a team sport.

For the individual, survival is often cited as the primary driver; but if life is a team game, then the role of the individual may be inconsequential, a pawn. Once its purpose is served, it can be sacrificed or replaced - leaving little, other than its contribution to the Game.

These works explore a culture's unwritten codes and cues

How do we recognise the boundaries of normality?

Shadow passing (should I put this bit of text in?)
The mark that a person leaves on the physical world is ephemeral. When weakness overcomes them; their trace is trodden on, dispersed and sold. But it is difficult to completely eradicate all remnants of identity. Although a home becomes an empty space where once it was a place, those that fill that gap are unknowing touched by the shadows of those gone before.

Tadpoles eat their dead.
